Terms & Conditions

Please read through all the terms and conditions so that you are fully aware of my rights when booking in for makeup provided by Miss Mercy Makeup Artistry. Booking with me signifies you agree with my terms and conditions. Prices are subject to change without notice, old pricing will be honoured once the booking fee has been paid for each service.

BOOKING POLICY

A 50% non-refundable deposit required for all wedding bookings.

A Non-refundable deposit is required for all general bookings.

Appointment dates/times are only 100% confirmed once a deposit is received.

Booking Fees must be paid within 48 hours or your time/date may no longer be available.

Prices quoted will only remain valid for 2 weeks.

Prices are subject to change after quote has expired.

Price list is updated yearly and is subject to change without notice.

Miss Mercy requires information on whether the client has allergies. A consultation form is mandatory for all clients to fill in. In no event shall Miss Mercy have any liability for incidental, or consequential damages however characterised, for example eczema, sensitive skin and eyes, hay fever, etc.

LESSON BOOKING POLICY

Full payment is required for all lesson bookings.

Appointment dates/times are only 100% confirmed once payment is received.

Reschedules: If you choose to change your appointment date, a Reschedule Fee of €30 will be charged.

Gift Vouchers: Lesson Gift Vouchers are valid for 2 years from issue date.

CANCELLATIONS / POSTPONEMENTS

Postponements: If you choose to book an alternate date within 6 months of the original date, your original deposit will be forfeited and will be required to pay another deposit.

In the event that you are forced to postpone your wedding/event and cannot go ahead due to a natural disaster, your original deposit will be transferred to your new booking date without penalisation.

However, if your new date is for a following year, a revised quote will be issued to reflect pricing for the year selected.

If I am unavailable for your new date, a credit will be issued to use for future bookings. Credits are valid for 1 year from the date issued.

In the event that your wedding/event is able to go ahead, however you decide to postpone your event just in case or cancel your event and/or service with Miss Mercy Makeup Artistry entirely, our standard t&c’s will apply, resulting in a forfeit of your deposit paid.

Cancellations / No-shows: If you choose to cancel your appointment at any time, you will forfeit your deposit paid.

If your event/wedding has been cancelled entirely (not postponed) standard t&c’s will apply, resulting in a forfeit of your deposit paid.

In the event that the client cancels the booking fee will not be refunded.

Weddings: Cancellations within 14 days of the date of the event are chargeable in full.

Booking amendments:

Any reductions in the booked number of people for your wedding/event date will still need to be paid in full if less than two months’ notice is given. If your booking is for an event only, less than two weeks’ notice will require full payment.

Please notify me if location changes as soon as possible. This may result in a revised quote due to travel fees, early call out fee, etc. If this is the case, I will send you a revised quote.

After your bridal trial, Miss Mercy is not obliged to secure your wedding date without a 50% non refundable booking fee and is not obliged to notify you if I no longer have capacity on your wedding day/event date.

PAYMENT METHODS

Cash/ Revolut / Bank Transfer

Please quote the booking name as payment reference and date of appointment.

Final balance must be paid as per invoice due date.

A final confirmation will be sent via email 1-2 weeks prior to the appointment, to confirm the final details (date, time, location). Please respond to confirm details.

MINIMUM SPEND REQUIREMENT (Mobile bookings only)

All mobile bookings for weddings require a minimum booking of 4 people.

 

TRAVEL FEE

Travel fees apply for distances to and from my studio.

Miss Mercy will confirm your total travel cost when confirming your booking.

Where car parking is restricted, it is your responsibility to arrange parking or incur the cost of any parking fees.

In some cases, a cost of hotel stay is needed.

Available for overseas weddings, flights and accommodation must be paid for. Enquire within for more info.

 

LATE FEE

I kindly ask that you please arrive on time to your appointment. As I usually run back-to-back appointments, this can cause delays in my schedule. If you are running late, a fee will incur of €10 per 10-minute block.

 

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

Surcharge applies to all public holidays and their associated weekends.

 

TRIALS

Trials are available but not essential for the rest of the bridal party.

 

OTHER T&C’S

The customer agrees, if for some reason Miss Mercy is unable to fulfil the appointment for personal, health, or other personal reasons, another artist will be sent in her place. If the customer is unsatisfied with this arrangement and has arranged an alternate makeup artist, a full refund will be given.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

If the customer allows before and after photos to be taken, they are giving permission for website/social media/promotional use.

By accepting the invoice/making payment, the customer agrees to all Terms & Conditions listed above.
